About us
Lorna Potter first opened her business from her Masterton home in 2001 and subsequently moved the business to a premises in Jackson Street before leasing the current premises in the old Public Trust building. She sold the business in 2020 and after owner Jane Smith took over the lease in October 2021.
When the salon closed in 2021 they saw an opportunity to take over the lease and restore it to its original brand, with Lorna’s blessing.

The salon is a beautiful, light and relaxing space in a historic character building. Lorna Potter Hair Spa Health is one of very few salons in Masterton that offer both hair and beauty services.
We pride ourselves on helping our clients to come in and instantly feel relaxed and looked after – what Lorna calls “a hug in a cup”. We want you to leave feeling fabulous, relaxed and cared for, and that is reflected in everything we do.

Claire is Lorna Potter – Hair Spa Health’s longest serving stylists. With 30 years in the Hair Industry she is passionate about her clients and her work.
Megan Allen
Senior Hair Stylist
With over 29 years in the Hair Industry Megan started her apprenticeship with George Janisin Wellington and quickly became a colour expert. Having worked in Wellington, Taupo and now Masterton Megan has found her stride with Lorna Potter – Hair Spa Health. Her clients are her passion – helping them to understand their hair needs, style, and colour that suit all the while ensuring they leave the salon feeling amazing and confident.
Nadine Batts
Hair Stylist
Nadine is the newest member of the Lorna Potter Family. Having recently returned from the UK, Nadine brings with her over 25 years of experience in the hair industry. Nadine’s approach is calm, gentle and unhurried. Her blow waves are exceptional

Leisha loves making people look and feel beautiful. She is dedicated to providing her clients with a safe and comfortable experience and believes that everyone should be able to feel beautiful. She loves working with both lash and nail extensions and is known for going that extra mile for her clients.

With over six years of salon experience, Tania is a seasoned beauty therapist dedicated to enhancing your natural beauty. As an accomplished makeup artist with fifteen years of expertise, Tania's passion for the beauty industry shines through in every service she provides. Trained at UCOL in Beauty Therapy, she now brings her skills to the forefront as a valued member of the Lorna Potter Hair Spa Health team.
